About the Urology Care Foundation
The Urology Care Foundation is committed to promoting urology research and education. We work with researchers, healthcare professionals, patients and caregivers to improve patients' lives. The Urology Care Foundation is the official foundation of the American Urological Association (AUA)—an organization of roughly 19,000 urologists. We used to be known as the AUA Foundation.
Our vision is to support urology research and to be the top provider of up-to-date and dependable information about urologic health for patients and the public.
We provide patients, healthcare professionals and caregivers with accurate and up-to-date educational materials about urologic problems. We base all of our information on the AUA guidelines. These guidelines set the standard for quality patient care.
We focus on funding urologic research to find new treatments and improve the quality of patients' lives. We believe that urologic research is very important to improving patient care. Our programs have provided funding and support to the urology research community for more than 35 years.
