prolapse

In women, the front wall of the vagina supports the bladder. This wall can weaken or loosen with age. Some women experience discomfort in the vaginal area, problems with urination and/or painful intercourse. This may occur because the bladder has shifted out of its normal position and may descend into the vagina, known as bladder prolapse or cystoceles. This may trigger problems such as urinary difficulties, discomfort, and stress incontinence (urine leakage caused by sneezing, coughing, exertion, etc). During this free, interactive Webinar, Roger Dmochowski, MD, a leading female urology expert, will highlight common conditions leading to bladder prolapse, identify common signs, and symptoms of different grades of bladder prolapse. Dr. Dmochowski will also explain common behavioral and surgical options for treating bladder prolapse.
