  • Dr. Natasha Kyprianou, PhD

    Dr. Kyprianou is the James F. Hardymon Chair of Urologic Research at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. She is also a Professor of Surgery/Urology, Professor of Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry, Professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, and Professor of Toxicology.
  • Dr. Anthony Schaeffer
    Chairman and Herman L. Kretschmer Professor of Urology
    Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine
    Dr. Schaeffer has made major contributions to urologic research and has re-invigorated interest in basic science research as a strong advocate of physician-scientists and their needs.
  • Dr. Larry Lipshultz, MD

    Dr. Lipshultz was the first Research Scholar in the AUA Foundations 35 year Research Scholars Program which was initiated in 1975. He holds several appointments including: Professor, Scott Department of Urology; the Lester and Sue Smith Chair in Reproductive Medicine.

    2010 AUA Foundation John W. Duckett Award for Excellence in Pediatric Research
    Dr. Stephen Zderic is the John W. Duckett Endowed Chair in Pediatric Urology and is a Professor of Urology at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Dr. Zderic received his B.S. from the University of California-Riverside and M.D. from UCLA.

Larry Lipshultz, MD

Dr. Lipshultz has the distinction of being the very first Research Scholar in 1975. Dr. Lipshultz holds several appointments including: Professor, Scott Department of Urology; the Lester and Sue Smith Chair in Reproductive Medicine; and Chief, Division of Male Reproductive Medicine and Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Lipshultz's primary clinical and research interests are male infertility, erectile dysfunction and male hormone deficiency.
