2011 Pfizer/Urology Care Foundation Research Exploration Award Program
Background
In 2004, a competitive grants program was initiated at Pfizer with a focus on improving the understanding of overactive bladder (OAB) and voiding dysfunction.
Pfizer's ongoing commitment to supporting research training and research exploration continues in 2011 as a collaborative effort with the Urology Care Foundation and SUFU. This year's program will offer support for two separate tracks, research exploration and research training, to individuals at institutions in the USA.
The research exploration track is described in this Program Announcement and consists of the Pfizer/Urology Care Foundation Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms (LUTS) and Bladder Dysfunction Research Exploration Award. For this track, independent investigators at the MD and PhD level are eligible to submit proposals. A maximum of $75,000 will be provided for up to an 18-month period.
