Russell Scott, Jr., MD Urology Residency Research Award
Introduction
Urology research is an exciting and vital medical activity. Research training during urology residency provides residents exposure to this potential career path and could increase the number of potential surgeon-scientists. Residency research support could also provide additional manpower for the department and enhance the department’s reputation and publications.
The AUA Foundation is proud to provide the Russell Scott, Jr., MD Urology Residency Research Award, designed to fund an outstanding urology resident for a period of one year while the resident fulfills his or her obligation for research training. This program is made possible through the support of the Russell Scott, Jr., MD Research Fund.
