Urology research is an exciting and vital medical activity. Research training during residency provides residents exposure to this potential career path and could increase the number of potential surgeon-scientists. Residency research support could also provide additional manpower for the department and enhance the department’s reputation and publications.
The AUA Foundation and the Arkansas Urologic Society is proud to provide the Arkansas Urologic Society Residency Research Award, designed to fund an outstanding urology resident in the state of Arkansas for a period of one year while fulfilling their obligation for research training.
