The Urology Care Foundation is excited to announce its inaugural Care Gala on Friday, May 15, 2015 at the The National World War II Museum in New Orleans. The gala is a fundraiser that will provide resources to raise awareness and funding for urology research and educational programs to improve patients' lives.

Urological issues can be life-changing. Thanks to research programs, treatment methods continue to improve. With nearly $40 billion spent by the American public on treatment (not counting cost of drugs), research and education funding is vital. Over the nearly 40 year history of funding research programs, over 625 awards have been given with $24 million spent. The Foundation's goal is to recruit the "best and brightest" into the field of urologic research.

"Our new video featuring six of our Research Scholars will premiere during the Gala and you'll see why their work is so important," said Foundation Chair Richard A. Memo, MD. "We hope you will enjoy what we have planned for you this evening."

The sold-out event takes place at 7:00 pm in the Museum's US Freedom Pavilion with entertainment by The Victory Belles and Tom Saunders & the TomCats. A silent and live auction is also featured with vacation packages, art, books and sports memorabilia.

Ticket-holders can take a one-way shuttle service from the Museum to the New Orleans Marriott and Hilton New Orleans Riverside at the end of the evening.
