Building a Healthier Future
Endowment gifts are the most lasting and powerful resources a donor can give. Because they provide a steady stream of income from permanently invested funds, endowment gifts keep on growing and giving from one generation to the next.
We must create and increase the size of our endowment funds if we are to keep pace with an ever-changing healthcare environment. The Urology Care Foundation is committed to establishing a Patient Education Endowment to ensure that patients have access to the most reliable information concerning their urologic health and treatments. The Endowment Fund will be funded at a level to last in perpetuity, with only the payout from the fund spent each year to support the Urology Care Foundation's Patient Health Education goals and priorities. That means gifts to our endowment leave a legacy and give forever, building the financial foundation on which the Foundation's future depends.
The Urology Care Foundation's free educational materials, available online and in print from a reliable source on urologic health, help patients and their caregivers be better, active partners in their care. The Foundation develops patient educational materials as well as decision tools that patients can use with their health care providers in making the health care decisions that are best for them. At the same time that the government funding of urologic health education is decreasing, the number of people who need to utilize urologic treatments and educate themselves to become active partners in their treatment is increasing.
The Foundation is interested in partnering with companies and individuals like you who share the same passion for our mission and core values. Your support of the Patient Education Endowment Fund will make a measurable impact today and in the future in the wellness and urologic health of millions.
