We are proud to announce a new podcast series for bladder cancer caregivers. The goal of this “Bladder Cancer Caregiver Podcast Series” is to help provide more understanding, support, hope and guidance for people impacted by bladder cancer, to include friends, family and caregivers.

This podcast series includes five podcasts, each with a focus on bladder cancer caregiver topics from the views of a survivor, caregiver and doctors.  Listeners may reflect on how these stories may relate to their own lives.

Bladder Cancer Caregivers - Self-Care with Survivor, Frank Sloan, PhD

Bladder cancer survivor, Dr. Frank Sloan, speaks openly about his journey, emotions, support and strategies of bladder cancer as a way to showcase one's self-care. Bladder Cancer Caregivers – Getting More Informed with Dr. Sima Porten

Dr. Sima Porten, a urologic oncologist at the University of California, San Francisco, shares her advice on how to get and stay informed while you or a loved one navigate a bladder cancer diagnosis. Bladder Cancer Caregivers – Caring in the Community with Dr. Fenwa Milhouse

Dr. Fenwa Milhouse, a board-certified urologist in Chicago who is fellowship trained in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive urology, talks about bladder cancer and the community. Bladder Cancer Caregivers – Caring for Sexual Health with Dr. Daniela Wittmann

Dr. Daniela Wittmann, an Associate Professor in the Department of Urology at the University of Michigan and a certified sex therapist and sex therapy supervisor, talks about sexual recovery after cancer treatment. Bladder Cancer Caregivers – Caring for a Cancer Survivor with Heather Honoré Goltz, PhD

Dr. Heather Honoré Goltz, an oncology social worker and researcher, as well as the Professor of Social Work at University of Houston-Downtown, talks about her caregiver experience. The goal of this podcast is to shed light on the caregiving aspect from the perspective of a bladder cancer caregiver to understand how to support a loved one going through bladder cancer and how the journey impacts the caregiver. Listen to Dr. Heather Honoré Goltz now.
